The Second program is National Science Day September 17-18, 2014 (Wednesday and Thursday). The program is going to be organized at the BP Planitorium, TU, Kirtipur, which is going to be inaugurated by Prime Minster on 17th. The Science Day is being by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, GoN and I am one the member of the organizing committee. There are many communities coming up for showcasing the work in IT, science and technology being developed, innovated in Nepal. If we have sufficient number of volunteers for this program as well, I hope I will be able to request for one independent stall for Nepalese Wikipedia. Please do share if some of us might be able to take out two days and volunteer for this program.3. The third and final (to this email list) of event is upcoming Software Freedom Day. The SFD is to be celebrated on September 20th (Saturday). Unlike last year, this year the FOSS Nepal Community is planning to host the program with facilitating a platform for discussion and interaction with and among various Open Communities as has been in the top of discussion agenda since last Open Data Day program.
