Hello everyone

After the series of discussions with the team members, we are all set to organize Wiki Loves Earth 2017 in Nepal form May 1, 2017.

As an introduction, Wiki Loves Earth (WLE) is a public photo competition on Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation. The aim of this project is to deliver (upload) the quality photographs of natural sites of Nepal.

 

The WLE will be held between May 1st to May 31st. We are also inviting volunteers for the event to broad this event all over Nepal. To become a volunteer, please mail us at maithiliwikimedians@gmail.com

Prizes for this WLE are

1. 1st Prize - NPR 15,000
2. 2nd Prize - NPR 10,000
3. 3rd prize - NPR 5,000
4. Top Contributor Award - NPR 5,000
