Almost all editing aspects apply to maithili but since it is an incubator project, you will have to do the following:
1. Go to https://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Incubator:Main_Page
2. Click on "create account" on the top of the screen right hand side and create an account.
3. Create an account with a unique username and password.
4. Log into your account
5. Once logged in, click on "preferences" on the top of the screen.
6. Under the "Internationalisation" you will find test wiki option. Select "Wikipedia".
7 Under the next option, you will find test wiki language. Select "mai"
8. After this selection, go to https://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:PrefixIndex/Wp/mai/
9. For creating new articles, type https://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/mai/प्रनब मुखर्जी in the browser's addressbar. If प्रनब मुखर्जी article is there, you will find the article. Else you can create one.
