Update on the Finnish wikipedia milestone; current best estimate is we will
pass 100 000 articles around 24:00 GMT 12th of February (give or take a day
or two ;)
The Finnish wikipedian community is planning to organize a celebratory
public event (perhaps a panel/talks and/or a press junket sort of thing; not
set in stone by any means); perhaps late in March. Anyone wishing to come
and attend is wellcome, but if you are coming from afar, might be best to
check the details with me or [[Käyttäjä:Joonasl]] on the Finnish Wikipedia.

Thank you. Things are beginning to get interesting on the Finnish Wikipedia.
In fact it is just about as active and large in size as the English Language
wikipedia was about at the time I joined in 13th of April, 2003.
