Anyone have an idea what a wikipediatrician might be?
Well, a pediatrician is a doctor who treats childhood diseases, so by analogy, I suppose a wikipediatrician would be somebody who treats immature Wikipedia articles and makes them "healthy". Possibly it could be somebody who makes the whole Wikipedia (which is still immature) "healthy" (in the sense that an electrician fixes electrical things that are broken).
It's a new term as far as I can recall :)
I'm trying to upload examples of phonemes for the SAMPA page as OGG files, but when I test what I've uploaded, my browser (Mozilla 1.0) displays the contents of the file as text. Does anyone have any advice? I've now tried this from two different systems with the same result. The files play fine in my Winamp.

Can you tell me the exact filename you are uploading? I tried the command
lynx -source -head "http://www.wikipedia.com/upload/SAMPA [Q] dot bomb wasp English RP.ogg"
and got a 404:
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found Date: Sun, 23 Jun 2002 20:47:41 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.23 (Unix) PHP/4.0.6 mod_fastcgi/2.2.12 Last-Modified: Fri, 25 Jan 2002 21:49:12 GMT ETag: "10d1e7-83-3c51d2d8" Accept-Ranges: bytes Content-Length: 131 Connection: close Content-Type: text/html
It might help to upload it with a filename that doesn't have a bracket, as the Wikipedia software mangles it (but I don't think that's the problem).

:-) I took the analogy in a different direction. A wikipediatrician's office is where you take your children to be treated by random passerby.
"YOU can cure this child right now!"
