Hello All,
I wanted to invite you to try out
tuesl.com (short for Top User Edited Site
Lists) . The concept revolves around creating a list of the top 10 links for
any particular question/phrase you might have. E.g. If you were applying for
an MBA, wouldn't it be nice to have a peer-reviewed list of the best MBA
programs and links to them? Sure, you could try a search on any search
engine, but you'd have to compile the list manually. And you still might not
be able to find the best programs out there!
Tuesl allows you to make such a list which can then be modified by others
across the world according to a set of rules. In essence, it attempts to
create an authoritative list for any question/phrase through a democratic
process where the best links make it to the top.
An added incentive for making a tuesl is the ability to market yourself.
E.g. if you were to make a tuesl on climate change, you could place a link
to your blog in your signature. If the tuesl were to become popular, who
knows who might contact you from that link with potential
research/consultancy offers!
The site is currently in its beta phase. I look forward to receiving any
feedback you may have and would be be happy to answer questions.
Also, if you like the idea, please share it with your friends via facebook,
email, twitter or your blogs!
Regards,
Ahmad Zaidi
