|Hello all,
|
|Probably I am looking ahead too far but is there a need for implementing
|DICT protocol (
http://www.dict.org/) ?
|
|IMO Wikipedia is well suited for this project.
|
|What do you think ?
|
|Regards,
|kpj.

I just looked up "rocket" and "virus". Not impressive results,
however warm I might feel to see what they have done.
On the other hand, obviously a word lookup would be a great feature
and if there's nothing better, it wouldn't be bad, but, judging from
this quick test, it wouldn't be great either.
And then I looked up "war". I grew up on the Devil's Dictionary (and
wrote most of [[Ambrose Bierce]]), but if we are to be NPOV, then do
we want to return Bierce definitions? Or Easton's 1897 Bible
Divtionary? Again, cool, but is it Wikipedia?
