You need to use a browser which converts unicode into numeric character
entities rather than a series of question marks. For example, Internet
Explorer or Mozilla are suitable. If you don't have a system capable of
this automatic conversion, you could try one of the many client-side and
web-based tools written for this purpose, e.g.
I use Konqueror, and yes, it creates [[gu:??????]].
