Going through the wp, I'm finding that a wikispecies, in my humble opinion,
should get a go as a starter project, to see what happens. The
organization, I'd vote to organize by the taxonomic names, in Latin form
(deuterostomata page, not "deuterostomes"), and have whatever everyone
thinks should be on there. I'd be happy to help out with organizing it,
doing some articles on homo, australopithecus, and dinosauria (my favorite
subjects in biology). Perhaps also in the main Wikispecies page, there
should be an outline of evolution, and the current theories regarding that,
and how the taxonomic system itself implies the evolutionary nature of life
itself. A link to
www.talkorigins.org may also be useful on the main page
as well.
All that info should be covered in Wikipedia. You are free to start a
non-Wikimedia project called Wikispecies at any time though.
