Exactly. Why do we need anything other than the name
of the language? It's the clearest, easiest way.
I hate to try to click a world map trying to get to
the Basque language....

What is the *basic, driving* idea behind these
suggestions? to make it
simple for people to find their language on the
portal page.
The simplest thing is still to have the name of each
language, in words.
