That much is true. We've discussed before making some kind of
licensing change, but it's really a lot of trouble, particularly when
*I* think that most of the alleged violations (such as the one you're
talking about here) are not actually violations at all.
Fortunately there *is* the possibility of an out, that being to convince
FSF to amend the GFDL usefully. (e.g. to allow people to use the equiv.
creative-commons license)
They're obviously skeptical of doing so, but as statistically the only
website to use the GFDL, our opinions and needs have validity.
