You are right. This is tactless towards the people of Moldova. It should be changed as soon as possible.

Yes, I agree. I raised this issue once but nothing was done about it. "Молдовеняскэhttp://mo.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9F%D0%B0%D3%82%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0_%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%87%D0%B8%D0%BF%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8D" should be changed to "Moldoveneşte" and the link should be changed to http://mo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page which is the biscriptal portal, rather than the Cyrillic Alphabet portal.
One way to solve this problem is to move Cyrillic to a new subdomain. The problem is, however, that it seems as if there will never be a Moldovan Wikipedia, since Moldovan-Latin is identical to Romanian. Therefore, what to do with the subdomain mo.wikipedia.org? (Why was it created in the first place?)
One big problem, though, is that although I supported the current model operating at mo.wiki, it turned out to be a big failure. There is a lot of poor grammar being used, a lot of the things there don't make sense. That is why, now, after seeing the case unfold for a bit, I'd say the best thing to do with that Wikipedia is either freeze it or delete it. It's quite disappointing, though, that very few neutral observers are involved in this and no-one aside from Node, some Moldovans and some Romanians really seem to care.
Thanks,
Ronline
