Mmm, and screenshots of Wikipedia /or other projects/ over time, on
key days, would also be neat :-) Especially if you remember a
discussion surrounding a design change. There is a "historical pages"
section on Meta that might be helpful, and the
archive.org image of
"wikipedia.com" from 2001/2002.
There's a whole historical mirror of Wikipedia (though it's not really a
wiki any more since it's completely frozen):
