One interesting thing I read: "The publisher only uses articles from
writers who are known to be reliable. However, on the previous DVD
were at least a hundred copyrighted articles taken from a DDR Lexika.
After the slip-up was discovered, Directmedia immediately replaced the
DVD image."

Hi wikipedians,
perhaps the German speaking wikipedians are interested in the release of
the book "Wikipedia" by Directmedia and the latest Wikipedia DVD with
~300.000 articles (in German only!) and ~100.000 images from de and commons.
You can find information here:

Bye, Tim.
Quick note: I ordered one for myself at DirectMedia, and two as
christmas presents at amazon.
The DirectMedia arrived about a week ago; I'm still waiting for the
amazon ones. Sold out?
