Not sure if all of you are aware of the newsletter that Wikimedia foundation publishes about all indic wikis. You can have a loot at the newsletter, called WikiPatrika and get an idea about what goe in it. It is a time to submit our site news for the next issue, which is due to be published in April. I encourage you all to share stories, news, stats that you would like to share with wider community in India. As we all think differently, we might have a different events to report as news. As you can see the one in link, it was our very first news, so not much professionally done and only a small statistics provided. This time we would like to report a lot more, as I am sure a lot has happened in last year's time.

So, lets all get going and start out thought process. If you would like to report any news, please share it with me here, either on my email address or with the whole mailing list, which will encourage other users to share as well. depending upon response from you all, I may put up a temporary page on gu.wiki to report. Meanwhile, wikimedia will be preparing the template for us to put our final stories in.
