વિકિસ્રોત પર પરિયોજના "નંદબત્રીશી"નું અક્ષરાંકન ૯૦% જેટલું પૂર્ણ થયું છે અને તેના પ્રકરણો સહભાગી સભ્યોને વહેંચાઈ ગયા છે. આ સાથે પરિયોજના ક્રમાંક ૫૫ હેઠળ ગાંધીજી કૃત ઐતિહાસિક તવારીખ "દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકાના સત્યાગ્રહનો ઇતિહાસ" ને સ્રોત પર ચડાવવાનું કાર્ય હાથમાં લઈએ છીએ. જે પાર્શ્વ ભૂમિ પર "સત્યાગ્રહ"ની નિર્મિતી થઈ તેનો રોચક ઇતિહાસ આ પુસ્તક ધરાવે છે. ગુજરાતી ભાષાની આ કૃતિમાં ભૂલશુદ્ધિ (પ્રૂફરીડિંગ) કરીને વિકિસ્રોત પર ચડાવવાના આ નિસ્વાર્થ સહકાર્યમાં આપ નીચે આપેલી કડી (લિંક) પર જઈ જોડાઈ શકો છો.

conference in Albania organized to promote software freedom, open source

It is organized by Open Labs, a non governmental, not for profit

Now, we are calling for speakers (CFS), we would like to invite developers,
speakers and promoters from Albania, the region and overseas to submit

on July 15-19, 2015 are now being accepted. Applications are open until

A scholarship will the cost of an individual's round-trip travel, shared

and conference registration as arranged by the Wikimedia Foundation.
Applicants will be rated using a pre-determined selection process and
selection criteria by the Scholarship Committee, who will determine

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the ninth edition of Picture of
the Year competition is now open.
Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on
Commons during the year 2014 to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the
international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered
in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant
shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical
images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive
human portraits, and so much more.
For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories.
Two rounds of voting will be held:
In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30
overall and the most popular image in each category will continue to the
final.
In the final round, you may vote for three images (first vote is counted as
3 points, the second as 2 and the third as 1 point.) to become the Picture
of the Year

We are excited to share that Tanveer Hasan A.K. has joined CIS-A2K as the
Programme Officer (Institutional Partnerships). We thank all the
Wikimedians from various Indian language communities and Wikimedia India
Chapter EC for taking part in the hiring process. [1]
Tanveer, has been working in the Higher Education sector for the past 3
years and is interested in analyzing the policy framework and its impacts
with particular emphasis on linguistic policies. He is committed to the
cause of spreading and cultivating the Free and Open Knowledge movement in
Indian Languages. He is also interested in the questions of language,
competence and social justice and would like to understand them through his
present engagement at CIS-A2K.
