Hi all,

We’re calling for volunteers to help in the global contest to be held in India; Wiki Loves Monuments 2012, to be held from 1st of September to 30th of September. We warmly invite interested volunteers to step forward to contribute to this global contest.

Something about Wiki Loves Monuments 2012:
Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 will be a global public photo contest around monuments, organized by Wikimedia chapters and groups. In 2010, this was organized for the first time in the Netherlands , and in 2011 it was organized in 18 European countries . In total, more than 165,000 pictures of European monuments were uploaded in 2011.

The following will be the tasks involved:

Prepare lists for every states/cities
Co-ordinate small events to be held in your local city

Coordinating and volunteering on-venue task, etc
Indic languages translations
