FPV Fest South Africa have joined forces with Wikimedia ZA to help encourage the local FPV community to contribute aerial video and photo content to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia. 

The focus of the project, a world first, is to increase the quantity and quality of aerial photographs and video media of important public landmarks and scenery in Africa. 

The competition will run during the months of March and April, and the winners will be announced at the SA Drone Festival, which will be held in Cape Town from 1 – 3 May 2015.
