The winners of the Wiki from Above 2015 competition were announced at the FPV Fest held in Stellenbosch over the weekend. A big thank you to all those who participated in the competition!

Joburgpedia Schools edit-a-thon

 

The second schools edit-a-thon took place at Constitution Hill on 30 May 2015.  This event was attended by over 35 learners and educators who started working on their submissions for the writing competition.  For future events, please like our Joburgpedia Facebook page.

Wiki Loves Pride 2015

 

Wiki Loves Pride is a global campaign to expand and improve LGBT-related content across several Wikimedia projects. The activities of Wiki Loves Pride are focused on June and October, traditionally the months when lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities around the world celebrate LGBT culture and history.
