Generally it has to be added by a neutral party (somebody without a conflict of inerest). There are a lot of websites in the world, and there has to be some way for wikipedia to sort out which are notable websites, and which are some bored person decided to put up. If your website is truly the great portal it claims to be, somebody else will eventually add it.

Also, please note this is the wikinews mailing list, for a website called wikinews, which is separate from wikipedia. You will probably get a better response at info-en@wikimedia.org or if you ask the nice people who left the Conflict of interest message on your talk page for clarification.

P.S. Don't take this the wrong way, but your website does not look like the largest Sri Lanka portal. You don't even have an email with your websites domain. I can't seem to find these high quality images you talk about (unless your talking about high quality images of other websites, and even thoose aren't that great quality). Your website is of the style that was popular ten years ago (look around at how many websites use flashing gif animations and a light on dark colour scheme now a days). There are links and images that are 404 errors. If I was looking for a portal for Sri Lanka, I would go either http://www.ourlanka.com/ (which while isn't great, is better) or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal:Sri_Lanka for a portal, and http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Sri_Lanka for high quality images.

Please let me know how we could add the name 'Sri Lanka Almanac Vidyuth Koshaya' (vidyuth koshaya = electronic encylopedia in Sinhala language). Please help Sri Lanka develop this massive site by linking Wikipedia and giving details about it. We have linked Wikipedia to SLAVK.
