It may be a little bit optimistic to expect we all
know about it... but
I just happened to read this list yesterday night. I commented on the
wiki page.
The issue is not so much to have board permission. The issue is on who
makes the request. Apparently, it may be an individual or an
organisation. I think an organisation would have more weight. If it is
Foundation, of course, you need approval (and probably for it to be send
from the office with a stamp). If it is done by another organisation, or
by an individual, you do not need Foundation authorization.
