Hi, today started the first Wikinews Writing Contest in the Spanish Wikinews, called <span style="font-style: italic;">El Maratón de escritura de Wikinoticias. </span>We choose to set a minimum of three news by week, as most of the participants only write about one news story every week.

We also decided to increase the number of articles during the contest if all the remaining contenders agree.<br>
<br>
We would also like to congratulate the last two contenders of the
English Wikinews Writing Contest: Simeon and Alan for their 35 days
effort till now.<br>
