Dear colleague,
WikiConference India 2016 is still accepting submissions! If you would
like to
share your work and ideas with the Wikipedia India communities on
the conference (Aug 5th-7th) but have not submitted an abstract, please
kindly let us know and submitby next Wednesday, July 20th (23:59 IST). We
highly recommend all scholarship receivers to be part of the conference
programming.
Formats of presentation are flexible: tutorials, workshops, poster
presentations,
and Skype sessions are all welcomed. Presentation of your
full paper at the conference will be highly appreciated but we also welcome
power points or handouts for presentation (abstracts submission before the
deadline mentioned is still mandatory). We encourage all speakers to create
an interactive and creative environment for all delegates. It would be our
greatest honour to celebrate and embrace the diversity of the Indian
Wikipedia communities with you.
Submissions can be made online, via email or be handed to our Wikimedia
volunteers
listed under the registration page. Please don't forget to
review theformat and guidelines for participation. Submissions will be
reviewed and selected by the conference program committee. Applicants whose
submissions are accepted will be informed and contacted for further program
planning. For any inquiries or concern, please do not hesitate to contact
us.
If you had already submitted your abstract online, on behalf of the
conference team
we would like to thank you for the contribution and
participation. Our programme committee will be in contact with you. A great
conference cannot be made without your support!
Thank you very much,
Sincerely,
--
