Wikipedia should not become a forum to fight social injustices or social causes. It's duty, I believe,  is to remain a storehouse of knowledge and information of events  in  factual and neutral way .

Anima, a young female lawyer in Kerala, voiced her opinion against the gender discrimination at the Lawyers' Bar Association in Kozhikode, Kerala. The Bar association decided to suspend her for it! She put up facebook posts expressing her views of the discriminatory practices against women by other lawyers in the Bar association. At the General Body meeting of the association, she was asked to apologise. When she bravely refused, they verbally abused and threw chairs at her!! As a fellow lawyer, I am appalled at this discrimination. I strongly feel that her suspension should be revoked. That’s why I have started this petition asking the Secretary of Bar Association, Kozhikode, Tenison Joseph, to revoke Anima’s supension. Suspending her is clearly an act of gender discrimination. It is also an attack on her Fundamental Right to Speech and Expression. I am shocked that the Bar Association indulges in such practices. Sign my petition to tell the Bar Association in Kozhikode, Kerala to revoke Anima's suspension immediately. Kozhikode Bar Association has produced brilliant lawyers and it should support lawyers like Anima who stand up against injustice.
