Hello everyone,

This email and the links within it form the AGM pack for Wikimedia South
Africa's upcoming Annual General Meeting on Saturday 1 October 2022. This
is also the first time I am emailing everyone on this list using my new
Wikimedia ZA email address.

*AGM details*
The AGM will be happening online
*Date*: Saturday, *1 October 2022*.
*Time*: 10:00 to 13:00 + 1 hour lunch intermission -> 14:00 return for
board elections

I also want to remind everyone of two upcoming events other than the AGM.
The first is this year's Wiki Indaba

happening on 4 - 6 November 2022 in Kigali, Rwanda. If you would like to
give a presentation/host a discussion at WikiInaba you can apply here

scholarships to attend Wiki Inaba are available and can be applied for at

The second is a reminder that the Wiki community digital meetup for this
month

will be happening on Saturday the 24th September 2022 (10:00  to 12:00) on
discord. Topics I would love to discuss with everyone attending would be
when we should start hosting face-to-face meetups again, the global Wiki

well as any preliminary discussions people want to have about the upcoming
AGM.
