Thanks for getting onto this. Jan - I'm wondering if this is anythiing that
you might like to write an article about, and if so, could you work with a
press release or would you need something specific.
We (TACP) have a list of media people that we have used over the years so we
can also send the release off to that list.
David, if you need any help with writing I can also give it a bash - - - as
the resources say, though, it might be nice to lead with a personal angle,
so using some of the local voices who have a great Wikipedia story to tell?
Just a thought.

Hi all,
I just spoke to a PR guy that I got introduced to, who gave me some
good pointers on setting up a press release around the 10 year
anniversary of Wikipedia. Among all the other good pointers that he
gave me, he recommended that we send it out on Tuesday to have the
best possible chance to get it into the papers for the 15th. I'll
have a draft ready by the end of Saturday at the latest, and then I'll
let you all know to check it out.
