I'm not Cary, but you said any help is appreciated, so I thought I'd
respond. :-)

Following on from Ian's post, I thought I'd
list the existing Wikipedias
in South African languages - as they exist (excluding English).
I think it's a good idea to include English too, actually. Has anyone
tried contacting the South African WikiProject? You could leave a
note on the WikiProject talk page[1] or contact the participants[2] on
their talk pages individually.
Two Afrikaans speakers that I know are Anrie[3] and Jeandré du Toit[4].
Any help that anyone can provide in this regard is
much appreciated.
I'd start by posting a message on each of those wiki's village pumps[5].
Hope this helps,
Casey

[5]There's a list on [[m:Distribution list]], but it's not completely
up-to-date and sometimes not accurate. A good way to find the Village
pumps is to look for interwikis on [[w:en:WP:VP]] or to click the
"Community portal" link in the sidebar of the wiki in question.
