I'd like to share this proposal, which would make it rather more difficult to put up WikipediaDay-like centralnotice banners:

I believe this would make the work of geographically-based community usergroups much harder, especially in promoting attendance at annual flagship events like Wikipedia Day.

Would appreciate your input as members of local usergroups!
