At meetups, veteran Wikimedian Clem Rutter has raised with me the status of PyCommonist [1], a mass uploader to Wikimedia Commons. The use case would be, well, mass uploads of images he has to Commons.

The particular point is about migration from Python 2 to Python 3, about which I'm not competent to comment. If anyone has practical experience of the current version, that would be a step in the right direction.
