As I've already said, Sue Gardner from the WMF is coming to London this weekend. After the London meetup (which, once again, I encourage everyone to go to), she has invited the WMUK board out for dinner to hear about and discuss the WMF's strategy plan (among other things). Several of the board can't make it, so I've decided to invite anyone planning to stand for the board at the upcoming AGM to make it up to a worthwhile number of people. So, if you are planning to stand for the board and can make it to London for free food this Sunday evening, please let me know. This will be a great way for you to get to know Sue and find out what's going to be happening with the WMF over the next five years - both things you'll find useful as a board member.
