Because it was written independently and is more about me than the general call for contributions (although I wanted to highlight that too in case it could widen participation).

If it's of general interest it can go on the wmuk blog but it strikes me that it lacks wider appeal (I have also jokingly noted that quantity of blogs is a KPI for me...fortunately my readership numbers are not).

Having said that it is no bad thing to have publicity spread across venues.

I don't mind answering such 'out of interest' questions but I'm not sure they need to go to the whole mailing list. S
