Well, not to solicit paid editors would be a way forward. Reading the terms of use of the site would be another.

I have been contacted like this via PeoplePerHour (to write for a fee). I have also been contact directly by an author since that author's agent suggested that I could improve the author's biographical article.
Hence, I think it happens a fair amount.
