Dear all
Yes, Wikimedia UK does have to move as the building we are currently based
in has been sold by our current landlords (Ethical Property Ltd.) to new
developers (who are likely to knock it down and start again, apparently!)
We don't have a fixed date yet by which we will have to leave but the
latest update from Ethical Property suggest it will be by next September -
although if we find a suitable alternative before then we may move sooner.
Our Director of Finance and Operations, Davina Johnson, is leading on the
move and I will ask her to put together an update for this list. We will be
happy to receive your suggestions and input as we are currently in a
research phase in terms of options, although the board will make the final
decision. Davina works part time so will not be able to email you all
immediately, hence this message to let you know the situation in broad
terms.
Best
Lucy

Also, what would the relocation costs be?
Savings on the rent, of course....
