That is sad news. I believe I only met Filceolaire once or twice at meet-ups, but he left an impression, and I remembered his name.I Googled him to make sure I was matching the right face to the name, and stumbled across his YouTube account. It said this was the last video he liked:It's kind of a Wikipedian's video, celebrating knowledge. It seemed to fit the man, and what he was about – and perhaps, alongside all his contributions to the wiki, a good way to remember him.Condolences to his friends and family.AndreasOn Fri, Feb 12, 2016 at 5:03 PM, Richard Nevell <richard.nevell@wikimedia.org.uk> wrote:_______________________________________________Hello everyone,We've been given the sad news that Filceolaire passed away recently, confirmed by his family https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:FilceolaireHe's been a familiar face around Wikipedia for many years and we send our condolences to those who knew him.Richard Nevell--Richard NevellProject CoordinatorWikimedia UKWikimedia UK is a Company Limited by Guarantee registered in England and Wales, Registered No. 6741827.
