All,<div><br></div><div>At the request of a volunteer, we&#39;ve purchased three more laptops for events. They&#39;re free for any volunteer to take along to events - just ask us and we&#39;ll get them sent to you or the event.</div>

<div><br></div><div>These ones are quite powerful, and relatively lightweight - they&#39;re the same ones that we used at IBM as company laptops. They are extremely robust - I&#39;ve seen things happen to them that would make a Mac cry. The laptops themselves are specced as follows: &quot;Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15, Intel Core i3-380M processor, 15.6&quot; screen, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD&quot;. They have a webcam, and a card reader, and a dual-layer DVD+-RW drive. </div>

<div><br></div><div>They all come with Windows 7 installed, but it&#39;d be nice if a volunteer with experience in open-source software came in and got them to dual-boot with a suitable version of Linux. Any volunteers?</div>
