I've added this to the water cooler on the UK wiki now. It's at https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/Water_cooler#Invitation_to_Chapters_and_Photographers_for_the_European_Parliament_Project_2014

Wikimedia UK is certainly happy to consider funding someone's expenses and offering a loan of equipment to use on the project.You can either email me directly or comment on the water cooler. I think this is a very worthwhile project and something the chapter is keen to support. Given the short time between now and the project, it's best if we can get things moving pretty quickly.

Similarly, I'd be interested in working on this. I also suspect, with there being a nascent Belgian Chapter, it would be worthwhile getting in touch with them.

In addition to audio, I've got kit to do reasonable-quality video.

Only proviso: I'm not doing Nigel Farage unless I get to interview (read: Paxo) him. :P
