I‘d like to second Cormac as a speaker (if it means
anything).
And Mr. Wikipedia Weekly, Liam, and privatemusings (from the
Aussie end).
(Canadian based)
.
BTW Cormac. I don’t know if yu can get any of your
playmates from OpenLearn involved with WMF stuff, but Patrick would seem like a
bridgebuilder. http://ochre.wordpress.com/2008/03/13/hewlett-closing-session/
Jay, would you also consider the idea of extending something
like Wikipedia Weekly into a WMF sponsored project? I’m starting to get a
bit of interest around some of the global traps of running a regular
radio/conference/podcast . The idea is to encourage a bit of conversation above
the radar between people who wear more than one hat. Open Education Resources
seems to be the banner on which to float it. Maybe the WMF could go to HP, with
a few mates, as a sponsor for it.

Hi
Jay, I'd be happy to volunteer for this, unless someone else has already said
they would do it. My 'speciality' is wikis and education - specifically
Wikiversity - as well as research (open, collaborative research is the theme of
my submission to this year's Wikimania). I've spoken on these issues at all
three previous Wikimanias, and OpenLearn, ALT-C, and Wikimedia Nederland
conferences in 2007. Even if someone else is doing this, you can add me to your
list for future events.
Cheers,
Cormac

I'm also in the process of developing a volunteer speaking list for each of the

If you're interested in being added to that list (or if there already is one

Please
also provide some information about areas of interest, your background on WP or
