The 2016 Annual General Meeting for Wikimedia UK will be on Saturday 9th July. As in previous years, we also plan to combine this with an opportunity to bring people from our community together, in particular the charity's volunteers and members.
We are starting to think about possible venues for the day and are keen to look at locations outside London, if we can find somewhere suitable (by which I mean an accessible venue with good public transport links that we can ideally have for free or at a subsidised rate!) Birmingham and Manchester would be obvious choices as they are relatively central, but other suggestions are welcome, particularly if you are in a position to help with securing a venue.
Regardless of whether you have any suggestions or preferences regarding the venue at this point, please put the date in your diaries!
