This is excellent news! :) I'm pleased to see the focus on schools. It's not my area of expertise but in a world of "fake news" and ChatGPT hallucinations, the Wikimedia movement should have a role to play in teaching information literacy, something that is better taught from a young age!

Dear all,

I'm happy to share about a new colleague we have at Wikimedia UK, Sally Latham. Sally will be developing our work in schools, a relatively new area of work for us - I hope it will allow us to increase our presence and relevance in this sector, at a time where information literacy is very needed!

Sally introduces herself in this blog - https://wikimedia.org.uk/2025/10/sally-latham-joins-wikimedia-uk-as-education-lead/

All the best
