Attending the convention in August is part of the fringe and I have added it as such, but I think that rather implies we might consider having a stall or something there?

The Film festival is so long after Wikimania that I would treat it as a WMUK event outside of Wikimania

We have a page for this on the Wikimania website, I suggest people who are interested go there and flesh that page out. The 14th to 18th August is very much part of the fringe of Wikimania and there will be some Wikimanians still in London, especially if there are SF fans coming.

The final planning of this would be an interesting topic for a 30 minute slot at Wikimania, both for interested parties to meet each other, finalise plans for the con and perhaps for other editors to add to the wishlist of recordings images or just sit in on the planning of such an event.

I've expressed my interest too off-list - this is really close to my house so it'd be lovely to attend.
