Can you access filtered Commons images through Wikipedia? ie., by going to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:X.jpg, rather than commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:X.jpg?

If so, it seems pretty ineffectual...

Oddly, I've never tested that ;-)

But they do not block other /sites/ that may include a small
proportion of such content (Wikipedia for one; Google; Flickr IIRC)
