Yes, they have been going around registering various domains whose names
are connected to the Wikimedia Foundation and its chapters and projects.
Wikimedia De (or, rather, the Verein, *cough cough*) is as I understand
it currently looking into the situation, as it were.
Nominet are entirely reasonable about registered trademarks, anyway, so
it may well not be a problem long-term.
