Just to bump this...

I'm sorting out my Schedule for November; is this definitely planned to go ahead?

Is it time to start promoting it more (two months lead in is just enough to stir up some attendance I suspect).

Hi Tom,

I'm already in talks with some people at the Skiff discussing us using it :) Glad you know about it as well!

Designer wise, I don't see why not? I'm sure there are plenty of design related bugs out there and other things they can do...

What Brighton does have: BarCamp!

<http://barcampbrighton.org/>

I'll be there and will be happy to talk Wikimedia stuff to anyone who
will listen: might be an idea to try and get people from the BarCamp
community to come along, as well as the many open source communities
in Brighton:

* BrightonPy - http://brightonpy.org/
* Async - http://asyncjs.com/
* Brighton Ruby User Group - http://www.brighton-ruby.org.uk/
* Brighton Girl Geek Dinners
* UX Brighton (because Wikimedia could do with some UX people to tell
us how to suck less)

etc. etc.

I've tweeted about it as I know a lot of designers and developer types
in Brighton who might be interested - I'm presuming we are going to
let designers turn up and give us their wisdom? ;-)

I'll contact The Skiff, a coworking place in Brighton that a friend of
mine runs to see if he's interested in letting us use some space
there. They have hosted BarCamp for 100+ people, but have nice small
rooms and office space for hacking.
