Well wUKi sounds rather like wookie, which is almost certainly already
trademarked...

2008/10/13 Tom Holden <thomas.holden(a)gmail.com>om>:
I remember us having a vote on whether or not to
include "limited", but I
don't think we ever discussed whether we wanted "Wiki UK" or "Wiki
Information Network" (to the best of my memory). Can we add this to the
agenda for tonight? (For that matter: do we have an agenda? And are we all
still OK for 7:30?)
I think just "Wiki" was discussed as well. One point to consider is
that having a descriptive name like that means it isn't trademarkable.
That's not a major issue since we'll be trading under Wikimedia UK,
which is trademarkable (and trademark*ed* by WMF). "Wiki Information
Network" is probable ok, although it's a pretty rubbish name - we just
chose it for the acronym, which isn't the best naming process! How
about something more unique? Say, "wUKi"?
