Slightly dull email, but an important one for those of you who drop into the office regularly.
There has been a change in the fire escape routes for the Wikimedia UK offices.
If you’re in the basement area and the fire alarm sounds, DO NOT exit through the courtyard. Instead, exit through the Archive Room and turn right to access the external fire escape stairwell. Go up one flight of stairs, open the black gate and you will exit onto ground level.
We have changed the fire escape signage to mark the new escape route - when you're next here, if you want to be shown the new route, let us know and we'll point it out.
