Hello everyone,

As you may be aware, March is Women's History Month. Throughout the month Wikimedia UK will be revisiting some of the work that we as a chapter (and the Wikimedia movement as a whole) as been involved in to try and close the Wikipedia gender gap.

I'd like to make an open invitation to anyone with stories related to gender and Wikipedia to tell them through our blog over the coming month. Encouraging a broader diversity of contributors to the Wikimedia projects is something we are working very hard to do and we would love for you to be involved in these efforts.

You can see the introductory blog post I've written about this piece of work here - https://blog.wikimedia.org.uk/2015/03/womens-history-month-revisiting-our-work-on-the-wikipedia-gender-gap/

If you'd like to take part, or you have any questions or comments, please do get in touch.

With thanks and regards,

Stevie
