I'm not saying that that what we are being told is a lie. What im trying to say is that if someone decides to go and check
whether whether Alison is the director of this company or the treasurer who handles are money is who he says he is, and
who isn't savy with the runnings of wikimedia uk and see's that in fact neither are listed, what sort of sign does that give
to companies we are going to be trying to get sponsorship from. Firstly they are gonna question whether what we are
saying is the truth and then secondly, if they do believe us (which they would have no reason and no evidence on which
to do so except what our website says) it makes us look unorganised and unable to complete simple tasks let alone the
running of an international conference.
