Hello again all!

The wiki (which has been upgraded and is running fairly well, thank you!) has been quite heavily targeted by spam — it'd be really great to implement a couple of small changes to prevent this from continuing:

• https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Combating_spam#Quickest_solutions_to_try_first, namely
  
• Set up the StopForumSpam and ConfirmEdit extensions
• Set up the AbuseFilter extension

We might also want to temporarily disable new account creations (https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Preventing_access#Restrict_account_creation) while we implement these changes.

As always, please feel free to reach out (I'm also on Slack) if there is anything I can do to help implement my suggested changes.
