QRpedia plaques were less than £100 each (I forget the exact figure). Add 20% for losses, repairs, updates, breakages (this is central London)... Andy, would you be willing to get in touch with English Heritage?

Sounds fantastic! What's a blue plaque cost to install? And,
presumably, maintain and so on.
