Dear all

Many thanks to those of you who attended our virtual AGM on Saturday. I'm pleased to confirm that all three candidates who stood for election received support from the majority of voting members, and will be joining the Board of Trustees for Wikimedia UK. These are:

Adrian Beidas (currently member of the Audit and Risk Committee)

Sangeet Bhullar (Trustee since 2019)

Vivian Wineman

All the ordinary resolutions proposed by the board were supported. There were no special resolutions.

Four new Honorary Memberships were awarded to the following recipients, for their significant contribution to the work of the charity:

Melissa Highton

Magnus Manske

Nick Poole

We will be seeking nominations for UK Wikimedians of the Year later this month, which will be presented during our Wikimania events in London (taking place Friday 12th and Saturday 13th August at Newspeak House).
